We are here at last!

Boarding the plane we are on our way!!!

We arrived to a fabulous greeting. What a way to make us feel at home.

After we got settled we spent the afternoon playing frisbee and running in and out of the Pacific. We were warned about the temperature but we needed to see for ourselves. I think we should have heeded the warning. My God was tthe water cold... I will upload a picture later.

The day has finally arrived! We are all at the airport waiting to go to Concepcion.

Final pre-Chile meeting

The team, including Bill Vinson, met on March 27th to practice our presentation (in Spanish this time!) and review last minute preparations. We discussed different options for contacting friends and family back in the US and our packing lists. Hopefully we will stay within our luggage weight limits and have plenty of room to bring back gifts (and wine?) from Chile. We've spent a lot of time preparing for this trip and it will be well worth it. We are very confident and excited for an amazing trip!
